A deposit may apply to your rental application. Gallery rentals are subject to approval by the Facility Manager.

    Flower Forms and Fruits

    Using the medium of your choice, (graphite, pen & ink, watercolour) draw and paint different exciting flower and fruit forms. This course is good for floral painters as well as botanical realists.


    Flower Forms

    Spring will be coming soon, so Daffodils, Gerbera Daisies, and Irises are among the possibilities, depending what is in season.


    Possibilities are oranges, nuts or other dry fruits, and pineapples or cones.


    Beginners and artists of all levels are welcome.


    January 15-February 19, 2019, 6 Tuesday evenings, 6:30-9pm. at VASA Gallery and Studios, 25 Sir Winston Churchill Avenue, St. Albert. Fee is $200 plus nominal fees for fresh flowers and fruits.


    Supply list available upon registration.

    The other course is through the St. Albert Seniors Association at Red Willow Place, 7 Tache Street, St. Albert AB T8N 2S3 It is Botanical Art for Beginners, 6 Thursdays 10:15am-12:45pm. $90 plus a nominal fee for fresh flowers. 

    Explore the beauty of plants through art. Course includes drawing techniques, value, texture, basic botanical anatomy, flower dissection, graphite, pen & ink.  A list of supplies is available upon registration. Registration is through the Senior's Association only.
