Out of Line
Carolyn’s newest collection explores the emotional terrain of a fragmented and shifting landscape. Within her signature style of vibrant colour and organic movement, she introduces geometric lines and repetitive shapes to highlight the tension within social, economic and political territory. Colour, angles, movement and absence integrate to unlock the common ground we all experience in times of isolation and exhaustion. Hope is intertwined with exile, and the struggle of speaking out and being silenced. Out of Line questions how we can evade solitude while resisting conformity and where we can find a balance between contrasting and complimenting each other.
